In Jinx chapter 8, a drunk and angry Joo Jaekyung becomes violent with Kim Dan. Dan later wakes up bruised and is given a large sum of money by Jaekyung’s assistant, who warns him to “keep his mouth shut.” Dan is left to contemplate the dangerous life he has committed to.
