Jinx Chapter 33: A flashback confirms both Joo Jaekyung and Choi Heesung are awful partners, and Jaekyung overhears Heesung faked his injury to get closer to Kim Dan. In retaliation, Jaekyung sadistically tortures Dan with a vibrating toy in the car before forcing a sexual encounter. Dan arrives at Heesung’s late and distressed.
Jinx Chapter 4 sees Kim Dan use the money to temporarily stabilize his grandmother’s care, but the loan sharks’ threat quickly returns. He is called back for another humiliating “special treatment” session with Joo Jaekyung, becoming more resigned to his situation. The chapter also starts hinting at tension between Jaekyung and his manager.

At the gym, famous actor Choi Heesung becomes immediately smitten with Dan after Dan treats his wrist. Jaekyung watches the interaction, and his nascent jealousy over Heesung’s sincere attention is established.
Jinx Chapter 26: Joo Jaekyung exits the room, leaving Kim Dan utterly submissive. He coldly warns Hwang Yoon-gu to stay away from Dan. Dan internally accepts his role as Jaekyung’s absolute property, believing he has no choice due to Jaekyung’s financial support for his grandmother.
