Jinx Chapter 37: Joo Jaekyung successfully makes weight but is severely stressed. At dinner, he gives a mysterious protein shake from an MFC rep to Kim Dan. Immediately after, Dan collapses in the hallway, incapacitated and trembling, implying the drink was spiked to harm Jaekyung.

Jinx Chapter 39: Kim Dan feels confused by his drugged confession and Joo Jaekyung’s coldness after the fight. Later, in Dan’s room, a worried Hwang Yoongu confronts Dan about Jaekyung’s shoulder. Yoongu confesses his love for Jaekyung and reveals he was the one who injured the champion in practice to force him to retire.
